RESTORATION OF THE BENTIVOGLIO CASTLE

Restoration of the Castle of Bentivoglio located along the channel Navile. In the ‘400 the Castle was one of the “delights” of the Bentivoglio family of Bologna. Extensively remodeled over the centuries, it was abandoned in 19th cent. After a change of ownership, assumes its present form as a result of the intervention of Alfonso Rubbiani. The castle houses the internationally renowned cancer research center “Ramazzini Institute”.
